We're assuming the hotel will have their own first aiders (and are planning to check up on that well before the convention) but there's no harm in having our own as well. I plan to have a fully stocked First Aid kit available, and identifying all trained First Aiders who are willing to step in should there be an emergency. Rather than have definite "on duty" shifts, just knowing who's trained and willing to be hassled if necessary should work very nicely.
If anyone is trained in First Aid and willing to be called on in an emergency, please add yourself to the list, or drop me a line and I'll add you. Knowing what training you've had and whether your certificate is currently valid would be useful.
