LFF stuff
From YearOfTheTeledu
The people who administer the League of Fan Funds (LFF) will be present at Year of the Teledu. They are Claire, Alison and Flick.
The LFF raises money for a number of fannish good causes, some of which are listed on the Organisations page.
Although they won't be raising money for any specific cause at YotT, the LFF will still be chasing you around the con trying to get you to open your wallet.
You'll be able to find us in the Fannish Living Room, where we will have a table or so of stuff that you can acquire in one of two ways.

Tat Tombola
We will have a tombola running throughout the weekend: you give us some money, we let you stick your hand into a big pile of raffle tickets and pull one out. If the number is the same as the number attached to one of the items on the table, you win that item, which might be wonderful, weird or just plain edible. You aren't allowed to give it back afterwards.
It seems highly likely that winning tickets will be those ending in a 0 or 5 and those that are prime numbers. It will cost £1 for five tickets and 20p to look at the list of prime numbers. Yes, we're evil.
Paper Auction
Normally, the LFF holds an auction at cons. YotT is no exception, but we're going to do it in a slightly different way. Over the course of the weekend, come along to the Fannish Living Room and have a look at the things we have available for auction. If one of them takes your fancy, write your name and the amount you're prepared to spend on it onto the bid sheet attached to the item. If the bid is contested, come along to the LFF Auction on Saturday evening and fight it out.
Tell us what you'd like to buy
We'll be bringing along books, tshirts, strange toys and all sorts of other bits and bobs, but if there's something you'd like to see then let us know. This will be particularly effective if it's something you know or suspect that we already have in one of our many boxes of stuff!
