Con Badges are funny things.
- A good con badge can be a souvenir for years to come.
- They help you identify who is who
- they are important for security so that non members can be identified easily as non members
- Poor badge design can be irritating and cause trouble
- We do need those stinking badgers" (Thanks Dop!)

We used to have a round button type badge machine which got passed round various conventions. This is generally disliked nowadays because of the hassle of sticking pins through clothes.
Nowadays we laminate our own - possibly printed by a colour inkjet. The can be either pinned on, or attached by a loop.
Oh but round badge machines are such jolly fun. Do any still exist? Big ones I mean. Can you get the blamks?
