Fizzy drink art.

This looks like a lot of fun to play with, although it could work out expensive when you factor in the materials. (More details and discussion can be found at this LJ entry - John Coxon)

Materials:

• Lots of 2 litre bottles of pop (presumably supermarket own brand 17p lemonade will work just as well?)
• Lots of sweets - Mentos are suggested but I know Refreshers cause a decent fountain (I've done some very basic experiments and I think that Love Hearts or Parma Violets are best - having said that, the three sweets are similar, but the mints I tried out all failed to do anything much that was interesting - John Coxon)
• Paperclips
• Drills
• Goggles/overalls

And if ambitious some music and a camcorder or two.
