[info]watervole Should be no problem. they just look on you like a club - performing a public service. Present yourself as a club whose function is to run a convention. Always worked for me and I'm quite upfront about it all. They'll probably give you free banking as well.

[info]lostcarpark Haven't much experience of actually setting up an account, but it shouldn't be much of a problem. It probably wouldn't hurt if the person setting up the account has a personal account in the bank with a fair bit of money flowing through it... Some banks ask to see the club constitution, so you may have to do some creative writing.
